We all tend to get so busy with our everyday life, that we often forget to take a step back and reflect on what we do and why we do it. It does not matter what religion or faith you believe in, as long as you are human, I believe, you need to take a spiritual break.

In a perfect world we would take this break almost every day and reflect on the effects that our actions had on ourselves, our family and our society.  This is hard, I know, but if we practice it enough, we will learn that it does not require too much time and eventually we will learn to reflect on our actins every single minute of a day.  Infact, we won’t take any actions, until we know it will benefit us, our family and our society.

True happiness is almost impossible with being spritually happy. I mean, being in such a place that you know your actions are serving humanity. This kind of happiness will last forever. Physical happiness, happiness that is resulted by having physical comfort, money, status, successful career, etc, can parish and disappear in a blink of an eye, but spiritual happiness, happiness that is result of knowing that what you did once served your fellow human beings, will stay with you forever. no one can take this from you.

On that note I would like to take a few minutes and share  with you what I’ve learnt from my most recent spiritual travel to Baha’i World Center, In holly land Isreal.

This trip was a reminder of how much trouble Bahaullah, the profit of Baha’i faith , and his son Abdu’l-Baha, went through for humanity. Bahaullah’s massage to all humanity is unity and how earth is but one country and humans its citizens. He spent the majority of his life as a prisoner in Akko, but his massage lives to this day and now we have over 7 billion Baha’is all over the world, doing everything in their power to promote peace and unity.

What I was reminded of in this trip, was that no matter what your situation is, you have to do everything in your power to promote your massage and all your actions should promote the health and happiness of your fellow human beings.

Below is a video representing a highlight of this trip. Would love to hear your experiences, if you ever made a spiritual trip. A trip that gave you a push, a jump start, to start your everyday life with a purpose.

As always,

Stay happy and healthy

Roya
